About Dean

I've spent all of my 30 years in the workforce in service industries. I enjoy the collaborative relationship that ensues through the process of working towards common goals and a vision. Professionally, my experience entails both the consulting engineering and financial services industries. As a consulting engineer, I worked with clients in both the public and private sectors to meet a wide variety of project planning, design, approval, and construction needs. Following a career change in 1992, I joined Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, where I spent nearly 14 years as a Financial Advisor, providing advice, guidance, education, and direction in helping people realize their financial dreams.

Despite my years of success in both professions, neither industry allowed me to adhere to who I was, and to my core values and true personality. After extensive research, reading, and discussions with friends and family, I firmly settled on the practice of coaching.

I am proud to have obtained training from CoachU, headquartered in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. CoachU is the leading and most comprehensive provider of coach training worldwide. Coachinc.com, CoachU's parent firm, through its various subsidiaries, has trained over 7,000 people from over 36 countries.

My wife Jeannie and I, having married in 1980, have two children, Alison and Kevin. We've enjoyed the lifestyle of our Overland Park neighborhood since building our current home in 1990.
